    摘要:

 Integrated substrate gap waveguide (ISGW) was proposed following the metal gap waveguide and PCB waveguide with air gap. ISGW consists of two or three layers of substrates, basically one substrate for circuit and the other for gap. ISGW functions are not only for self-package but also become a part of circuits. Therefore, ISGW offers many design advantages over SIW. The presentation gives the fundamentals and also many design examples of filters, couplers, filters and antennas.




附专家简介:

Dr. Zhang obtained PhD degree from Technical University of Denmark in 1996. Then he, as a postdoc., spent about 2 years in Chalmers University of Technology, Sweden. In June 1998, he moved to IT industry in Canada and USA for new products design. In June 2002, he joined Concordia and now he is tenured prof. at the same university. His researches mainly include broadband radio over fiber transmission for 5G fronthaul, InP quantum dot lasers and broadband photodiodes, as well as microwave/millimeter-wave circuits for 5G.
